Cold Standby Recovery

Lagiga Data Forensics Cold Standby Recovery entails the implementation of a server in our data centre on our virtual environment, and the installation of your required applications and the restoration of your company data on setup, to test and ensure that the application is working. Once we have confirmed that the application is working, we will then shut down this server, placing it in cold standby. Should the server at your office crash, we will then bring the server up in our infrastructure and restore the latest off-site data. You can then access your applications remotely via an Internet connection.

Warm Standby Recovery

Lagiga Data Forensics Warm Standby Recovery entails the implementation of a server in our data centre on our virtual environment, and the installation of your required applications and the restoration of your company data on setup, to test and ensure that the application is working. Once we are both satisfied that the application is working, we keep this server up and inject the off-site backup into the server in our data centre, every 15 minutes. You are then able to access your applications remotely via an internet connection at any stage.

We understand the importance of a reliable off-site / remote backup solution which is why we utilise Attix5. Attix5 currently offers the best remote backup system available. The software backs up any platform – from desktop and laptop computers to server.
LiveVault

We also utilise LiveVault which enables the protection of our clients’ critical application data in the cloud and manages their long-term retention needs, all in a secure multi-tenant global, geographically dispersed cloud storage grid. All data is encrypted by the agent before transferring it from the customer’s servers and remains encrypted at Autonomy’s secure, off-site, underground data centres.

Laptops can conveniently be backed up from wherever they are being used (provided that there is an internet connection available), which is ideal for travelling clients and their employees. Our off-site backups allow for incremental backups, which means that only changed data will be added to the stored data.
